Maider won the gold medal in the Austrian Ladies Open tournament in the city of Götzis, last Saturday April the 26th.

The French Seta Drame was defeated by Maider in first round. In semi-finals, the Austrian Marina Gastl could not beat Maider, even if she was cheered by the local spectators. And in the final, she had a thrilling 3-period fight with the Venezuelan Jerasmit Weffer. In fact, she lost the first period, and they tied in the second one. It was not until the third and last period when Maider won the fight.
