Maider won in the first round to Cynthia Vescan (FRA), 3-0, 1-0. In quarter-finals she also won Aline Ferreira (BRA), 1-0, 1-0. But in semi-finals, Jenny Fransson (SWE) closed the door to the final with a 1-0, 0-1, 2-0.

In the last bout for the bronze medal, Maider won Sheherezade Bentorki (FRA) 0-1, 0-1 for a great third position and podium in the tournament.
Maider is now thinking in the Spanish Championship that will take place next weekend in Murcia.
